Our Story
In 2005, our paths crossed, and neither of us gave it much thought at the time. Then, in 2007, our lives intertwined once more, but this time, it felt different. We became friends, sharing moments of laughter and conversation, eventually leading us to our very first date. Our bond, from the very beginning, was music.
Now, 16 years have passed, marked by a journey filled with highs and lows, twists and turns, beginnings and endings, some of which were very public. We haven’t always had it all figured out, but that’s the nature of any relationship. Sometimes, like composing the perfect melody, it takes time – the right blend of sharps, flats, crescendos, and slurs. Sometimes, you have to start anew, change your tune, or introduce a different bridge.
Our Story
After enduring a heart-wrenching breakup and a few stumbles along the way, we’ve found our way back to each other. Sometimes, life forces you to pause and reflect, to truly understand and embrace God’s plan for your journey. God often imparts lessons in unexpected ways, revealing blessings that were right before your eyes, waiting to be acknowledged and cherished. We are profoundly grateful that God has granted us the privilege of raising our son together, of loving one another, and of continuing this life’s journey side by side.
God has guided us through the labyrinth of life, helping us untangle the threads, and we are elated to announce that we are embarking on a new chapter together – marriage. Like a harmonious melody that continually evolves, we are becoming the best versions of ourselves.
Our Story
On September 15, 2024, we will declare our love before God, our children, family, and friends. Proverbs 16:9 tells us that while we may plan our course, it is the Lord who establishes our steps. Thus, we, two imperfect individuals, pledge to love each other’s imperfections and support one another’s growth.
